Is there any danger in eating chalk? Since Elise's amazing discovery of this interesting white substance, she puts it in her mouth every chance she gets.
Lincoln's favorite snack a while back was blue chalk. I couldn't figure out how he was getting it because I kept it up high in a tray on a chalboard we have mounted in the kitchen. Then, one day I caught him in the act. My aprons hang on a hook at the bottom of the chalkboard, and he would pull the aprons just right to make the tray wiggle and release one peice of chalk at a time! It was hilarious and gross at the same time. I had to find a new home for my aprons! He did survive his chalk obsession. By the way...so happy for you and your master gardner classes! That sounds perfect for you!
